1st Anniversary Patch Announcement - 1st October 2025

As many of you already know, Eclesiar is celebrating its 1-Year Anniversary on October 1st!

To mark this incredible milestone, we’ve been hard at work preparing major new features that will reshape the future of the game. Here’s what’s coming on October 1st:

?️ Political Ideologies

We’re thrilled to introduce a brand new gameplay mechanic: Political Ideologies!

Starting with this patch, every political party will be able to select a unique ideology — a guiding vision for your country’s economy and direction.

6 ideologies will be available at launch, each with its own unique bonuses and trade-offs.
You’re free to pick the one that best supports your community’s playstyle and strategy.

How does it work?

Your party’s influence in Congress determines how much of your ideology’s bonus is applied. For example:

If Party X selects Communism and holds 50% of Congress, then 50% of the Communist bonuses will be active for your country.

More seats = More power!

? The University

Another exciting addition to Eclesiar is the University — a feature designed to add depth and progression to your gameplay.

Here, players can learn new skills — divided into Economic and Military branches (for now).

Both active and passive skills will be available to enhance your capabilities.

How do skills work?

Skills have a progression system. You’ll contribute items or energy to unlock them.
Reach 75% progression to unlock a skill.
There’s no limit to the number of skills you can master — but be warned, there’s a cost.

To keep things dynamic and engaging, skill progression will slowly decay daily, encouraging ongoing investment and commitment.

Adapt. Learn. Excel.

We’re putting the finishing touches on this huge patch to ensure the best possible experience for all players.

This year has flown by, and we’re beyond proud of how far Eclesiar has come. Here’s to ten more amazing years — and we’re just getting started.
